Biography
| Maria designs and makes Custom wood and metal furniture to fit your life style taste and the interior design of your home. Maria Isasi's functional iron and wood work includes Wood and/or metal Trestle Tables, Wood Farm tables, cocktail tables, Chandeliers, mirrors, Floor lamps and railings with an Old French and Italian flair. After a couple of years of designing Metal pieces she turned into original paintings as well. Press Release: Charming and cheerful, Maria Isasi's paintings are felicitous in character and nostalgic for what is pure and peaceful in everyday life - whether it be buying fresh flowers, enjoying a good book, or sharing a glass of wine. Emulating the style of vintage French posters, Isasi paints flower markets and fruit stands, European street scenes and vineyard patios. The figures she depicts - from children to street vendors to stylish youths - are casually chic with a delightful air of sophistication. After studying graphic design and designing functional metal art since the late 90's, Isasi began creating large paintings on canvas and wood two years ago. In an impressionistic style and warm colors, Isasi creates mixed media images that celebrate the small but essential joys in life.
